Privacy Policy

Short version: On Basic and POS+ plans, your data never leaves your phone. We collect the minimum necessary to run the service and never sell your data.
1. Who We Are
Pandue is a product of In91d, a company registered in India. We build tools for small shop owners. You can contact us at privacy@pandue.in for any privacy-related queries.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate Pandue. This includes: (a) Account information — your name, phone number or email, and shop name when you register. (b) Usage data — anonymised, aggregated information about how features are used (e.g., how many bills were created per day) to improve the App. We do not collect individual transaction content on offline plans. (c) Device information — device type, OS version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility. On the Online plan only, your business data (transactions, customers, menu items) is also synced to our servers to enable multi-device access.
3. What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your customers' personal data beyond what you voluntarily enter. We do not access your camera, microphone, or contacts without explicit permission. We do not run behavioural advertising or tracking pixels inside the App. We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.
4. How Your Data Is Stored
Basic and POS+ plans: All business data is stored exclusively on your device using local SQLite storage. Nothing is transmitted to our servers. Online plan: Business data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256) on servers hosted in India. Backups are retained for 30 days.
5. How We Use Your Data
We use your account information to provide and support the service. We use anonymised usage data to understand which features work well and which need improvement. We use device information to fix crashes and ensure compatibility. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating Pandue.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the App (e.g., cloud infrastructure, crash analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements. We may disclose data if required by Indian law or a valid court order.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, and export your business data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@pandue.in. We will respond within 15 business days.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Business data on offline plans is stored solely on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear data.
9. Children's Privacy
Pandue is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
